Artwork > Orlando Series

This collage started as a digital combination of a garden repeated in mirrored symmetry by Rebecca Steiner, who then passed the piece on to me as part of our collaboration. I was thinking about the intimacy of touch and Orlando's intimacy with the natural world, whether wilder or tamed in planned gardens. The figures began as added cut paper elements, along with additional cut green bits. These and the tape were then digitally added and transformed into the garden pagoda space through which the blurred figures pass holding hands.
