The Orlando Series was made in collaboration with other artists participating in a collage residency at Kolaj. We responded to contemporary issues raised in Virginia Woolf's text. This collage started as a cut paper collage from images I had in my studio. I was thinking about the blurred edges between Orlando and the biographer as writers. Collaboration with Kathryn Geismar who added the etched tree drawing and gave lots of feedback during the process. We were both new to digital collage and learned a lot during the journey of making pieces together.
