This is a collaboration with Kathryn Geismar. In the text, a fire consumes much of the "recorded story" and the biographer leaves blank spaces between found fragments from the wreckage. The story, identities, truths, time, and more are fragmented throughout the text. In this collage, I folded sheets of paper and burned a hole through the layers. Then I photographed Kathryn's eye through the hole. Kathryn added the written fragments.
