This collage started from layering several cut paper parts so that the crocheted lace seemed to me to resemble the screen of the confessional. Mosaic tile and hands holding quills surround the female figure behind the lace screen. Orlando, as a female attending a meeting of important male poets, is treated like an amusement rather than a serious writer. In this digitally manipulated collage, the hands are busy pointing to or "writing the screen" with their quills.
